Dobryden, hello! My name is Lena Bardy and I am from Kiev, Ukraine 👋🏼⁣

I am an illustrator and I am lucky to be part of this wonderful team. Last fall I was invited to the project My Friend Breath and I am very grateful for it.⁣
⁣
I've always painted. Literally, I can't remember a time when I didn't hold a brush or pencil in my hands. I've been learning it all my life 🎨⁣
⁣
I was lucky enough to go to an experimental school where we had a lot of drawing lessons from junior high. Then I got a higher art education. But I didn't stop there. I'm still studying, and I don't think it will ever end. I draw because I can't not draw.⁣
⁣
I came to illustrate children's books in 2018. And I think that's what I was always looking for. My work makes me incredibly happy.⁣
⁣
When I started working on the My Friend Breath project, I realized how lucky I was to have such lovely customers.⁣
⁣
Communication from the beginning was amazingly easy and I am grateful that Meg and Kelsey listened to my advice and didn't get in the way of my ideas💡

Now I can say with confidence that we have become a team, one mechanism. After all, we all worked only for the purpose of making the project better.⁣
⁣
I take great pleasure in drawing projects that seem important and necessary in today's world. My Friend Breath is one such project. It brought together the incredible experience and knowledge of wonderful people.⁣

I am sure that the result of this work will bring many benefits to children and their parents now and long into the future 💝⁣
