Who are our books and resources for?

With childhood anxiety, depression, and behavioural issues rising around the world our mission is to empower children with the knowledge and skills of emotional-regulation and resilience through mindful breathing.

We have designed our books and resources to support;

Our ready-to-use books and resources are a quick and fun way for educators within a school or learning centre to take a collaborative approach to teaching emotional-regulation through mindful breathing.

Through playing the say-and-do game, children learn how to regulate their emotional state, and change the way they feel. This empowering skill will have a positive collective impact on the resilience, behaviour and confidence of all children within a learning environment.

    • For Teachers/Educators - Using our resources makes teaching emotional-regulation through mindful breathing engaging and easy. The audio narration by our main character, Ash, along with the guided breathing pattern videos will do the teaching for you!

    • For Children - Having easy access to these resources allows a child to independently learn and practice how to regulate their emotions anytime, anywhere. They can use the resources in challenging moments to help change the way they feel both in class and at home.

    • For Families - Through having access to a shared resource, parents and caregivers become partners with teachers/educators in the development of their childโ€™s emotional-regulation and resilience skills. Helping to put into practice what is learned in the classroom throughout their home life too.

Being able to regulate our emotional state is not a skill that we are born with, some children require additional support to develop the awareness and understanding of how to manage their emotions.

Our easy-to-access books and resources provide a simplified approach for health services and professionals to use to teach a child the important skill of emotional-regulation.

These engaging child- friendly resources can be used individually or in a group, and for a variety of reasons. Including supporting a child to overcome anxiety, behaviour management, or helping a child to self-calm in an unfamiliar situation, such as being in hospital.

The say-and-do game, which is the core strategy of our resources, is a helpful teaching tool to share with parents and caregivers. So, they can become partners in the development of a childโ€™s emotional well-being and know how to support their child through uncomfortable emotions using the power of the breath.
